- Project Management:
Groundwork convenes and organizes teams of neighborhood residents, non-profit organizations, and government agencies to plan, design, and construct projects. Groundwork connects neighborhoods to existing programs and services, and helps neighborhoods navigate through the governmental system in order to get projects completed.
- Identification of Properties and Projects:
Groundwork works with Minneapolis neighborhoods and their non-profit, government and business partners to identify properties that could result in additional community spaces.
- Site Analysis:
Groundwork works with Minneapolis neighborhoods and their partners assess sites for potential use as parks or green spaces. This may include research on parcel ownership, contamination, and geophysical barriers to redevelopment.
- Project Advocate:
Groundwork assists Minneapolis neighborhoods in gaining public and governmental support for projects.
- Visioning:Groundwork helps Minneapolis neighborhoods and other interested stakeholders establish a conceptual vision for a particular property.
- Funding Finder:
Groundwork locates sources of funding for projects and helping neighborhoods apply for funding from diverse sources.
- Project Design:
Groundwork provides project design for parks, native restorations, and other community use spaces.
- Site Maintenance:
